Using Microsoft FrontPage: Start Microsoft FrontPage and open (or create) your web site on your PC. When you are ready to publish the files to the live site, choose the 'Publish Web...' option from the 'File' menu. In FP 2000 the dialog will look like the image below.
Publish in FrontPage
Enter your domain name as in the example above. If this is the first time you are publishing, you can check the box that is labeled "Publish all pages, overwriting any already on the destination." Otherwise, you will normally want to select "Publish changed pages only." You may need to click on the 'Options' button to see these options.
If you receive this error message below, you can ignore it -- There is no need to restart the server. Follow the steps above to publish again.
FrontPage Error
When publishing is completed, you will see this message in FP 2000:
FrontPage Success
You can repeat these steps any time you make changes to your site and need to update the changes on the web server. If you have trouble using FrontPage, you can find additional help at the microsoft web site listed below under 'Related Links'.
